I'm Lukas,
a product designer.

I design experiences through a qualitative research approach, iterative prototyping, and a deep fascination with human-technology interactions

Hi there! I'm Lukas:

a product designer,
interaction designer,
prototyper,
researcher

When not designing, I'm probably tinkering with something, reading a few books, watching old movies, or starting interestingly random conversations over a cup of coffee. Reach out and let's have one!

Why Philosophy?

well, I’m absolutely fascinated with the question of what human-centered technology means...

and I believe in order for us as designers to provide some answer to how technology should be designed, we need to have effective concepts of what technology is and understand how it relates to human life.

Philosophy of technology, as a growing interdisciplinary field, looks past the simple answer of technology as something which is simply used to explore the deeper relationships between humanity and the tools it builds and interacts with on a daily basis.

As our tools become more embedded, disembodied, and smarter with AI, its becoming even more relevant for designers to participate in these explorations and ask how we can imagine technological solutions which are not only useful, but truly serve human intentions and values.
